1/Can you introduce yourself?
まずは自己紹介をして頂けないでしょうか。

Hello, I am MICHIKO TACHIMOTO from colobockle.
I am handling the graphic design in the picture book at the top, television CM, institutional advertising, a poster and various fields of the binding of the design of the CD jacket, the kindergarten tool, and miscellaneous goods and books, the child writing, and magazines, etc.
Picture book of my new publication are “KOTORI NO YUUENNCHI”(PHP), “ANYE NO CHIISANA KABAN”(GAKKEN), “PRESENT NANI?”(BRONZE Publishing Inc.), etc.

こんにちは。colobockleの立本倫子です。
絵本をはじめテレビCMや企業広告、ポスター、CDジャケット、幼稚園具や雑貨のデザイン、
書籍の装丁、児童書及び雑誌などの様々な分野でグラフィックデザインを手掛けています。
新刊の絵本に「ことりのゆうえんち」（PHP研究所）「アニーのちいさなかばん」（学研）
「プレゼントなあに？」（ブロンズ新社）等があります。

2/Please tell us the chance to have become a picture book writer.
絵本作家になったきっかけを教えて下さい。

I liked thing to draw the picture when it was small and thing to weave a tale.
I had thought that I wanted to become a picture book writer when growing since the kindergarten.
When colobockle was started up the homepage at 25 years old, I was called that the picture book was not made from the editor who had seen it.

ちいさな頃から絵を描く事、物語を作る事が好きでした。
大きくなったら絵本作家になりたいなあと、幼稚園の頃から思っていました。
そして、25才の時にcolobockleを立ち上げホームページをつくったところ、それをみた編集者さんから、絵本を作ってみないかと声をかけて頂きました。

3/Do you have the influenced artist?
影響を受けたアーティストはいますか?

I respect posture to Dick Bruna's design.
I want to hold out so that my work may reach children all over the world like her, too.

ディック・ブルーナさんのデザインに対する姿勢を尊敬しています。
ディック・ブルーナさんのように世界中の子供たちに私の作品も届くように頑張っていきたいです。

4/Please tell us about your label "colobockle".
立本さんが手掛けている「colobockle」について教えて頂けますか？

I started up child's multimedia label “colobockle" in 2001.
As for me, the life of every day is paid to attention, and children have designed a certain one near by him/herself.
The toy and miscellaneous goods like the flask, the curtain, and the height meter, etc. develop variously.
There is a shop of colobockle in Naka-Meguro.
I think that it can touch a colorful, humorous works by the space where the picture book strays off there.
Please come to play by all means.

2001年に子どものマルチメディアレーベル“colobockle”を立ち上げ、日々の生活に目を向けて、子どもたちの身近にあるものをデザインしてきました。
水筒や、カーテン、身長計など玩具や雑貨等いろいろ展開しています。
中目黒にcolobockleのショップがあります。
そこでは、絵本の中に迷い込んだような空間でカラフルでユーモラスな作品たちに触れて頂ければと思っています。
ぜひ、遊びにきて下さい。

5/What is your most impressive works?
今までで、一番思い出深い作品を教えて頂けないでしょうか。

It is picture book “ANNIE NO CHIISANA KISHA” (Gakken) that I published for the first time.
I was said by everyone whether you were going to draw the picture book.
It is good in this to the extent that giving whole mind is too strong “If it puts it out to the people?”,“Is this better more?” that the brush did not advance for about two years though it inadvertently became complex by deeply thinking too much and the talk of the picture book with great pains was gotten from the editor.
The request of the file picture book at journal issued quarterly “POOKA” came and there was a deadline at such time because it was a magazine.
The thing about which it thought too much had been removed up to now, and I drew in obedient feelings and was able to raise it.
And, it finished and the picture book was able to be completed for the first
time my convincing work.
After that, I came to put the picture book.

はじめて出版した絵本「アニーのちいさな汽車」（学研）です。
絵本を描いてみないかというお話を多く頂いたのですが、いざ世に出すとなると思い入れが強過ぎた分、これでいいのかな？もっと、こうした方がいいかも。と深く考え過ぎて、つい複雑になってしまい編集者の方からせっかく絵本のお話を頂いたのにも関わらず2年間ぐらい筆が進みませんでした。
そんな時、季刊誌「POOKA」の綴じ込み絵本の依頼がきて雑誌なので締め切りがあった事もありますが、なんだか今まで、考え過ぎていた事が取り除かれ、素直な気持ちですっと描き上げる事ができました。
すると自分でも納得のいく作品に仕上がりはじめて絵本を完成させる事ができました。
それ以来絵本をかけるようになりました。

6/What work do you want to be going to do in the future?
これからは、どんな作品を手掛けて行きたいですか？

I want not to be going to change in the future, and to search for child's multimedia.
And, I want to handle the image and the intellectual training picture book, etc.

これからもかわらず、子どものマルチメディアを探究していきたいと思います。
そして、映像や知育絵本等なども手掛けていきたいと思います。

7/What music do you like?
好きな音楽は何ですか？

My favorite musician is Arto Lindsay and Klimperei.
I like damp music that wants to hear on the day of rain and becomes it.

好きな音楽家はアートリンゼイとクリンペライです。
雨の日に聞きたくなるような、しっとりとした音楽が好きです。

8/How do you think the flow of digital will evolve?
これからのデジタルの流れについてどうなっていくと思いますか？

Digital evolves fast and it becomes convenient.
But I think that morality and the idea, etc. should evolve so that person's mind may also follow it, too.

デジタルがどんどん進化していき便利になっていきますが、それに人の心もついていけるように道徳や考え方なども進化していかなくてはならないと思います。
