1/Can you introduce yourself?
自己紹介をして頂けないでしょうか。

Boy of name "Z CHAN" that puts up steeple-crowned hat and mask keeps expressing hero's story "Z CHAN" by various techniques like the cartoon, the picture book, the novel, the painting, the performance, and the animated cartoon, etc. from 1984.
The place of the activity has extended by having made "Van Rohho"of Teddy Bear that appears in the story majors with the picture book and goods, too.

とんがり帽子とマスクを付けた「Zちゃん」という名前の男の子が主人公の物語『Z CHAN』を、1984年から漫画、絵本、小説、絵画、パフォーマンス、アニメなど、様々な手法で現在も表現し続けています。
物語に登場するテディベアの「バンロッホ」が、絵本やグッズでメジャー化したことで活動の場も広がりました。

2/Why are you starting this job?
なぜ、この仕事を始めたのですか？

Because I was interested in the picture and sentences for a long time.
Additionally, it was not at all good.

昔から絵や文章に興味があったことと、
その他の能力が寒気がするほど欠落していたからです。

3/A work most recently remained in memories?
最近、一番印象深い仕事は何ですか?

It is an one-man show of the title of "BLACK TULIP" that opened in April, 2007.
The picture was drawn on the canvas that imaged the petal of a black tulip with white paints.
It is feeling of a little marchentic dream of seeing in the pitch-dark.
It completed finally in this time though it was a style started 12 years ago.

2007年4月に開いた「BLACK TULIP」というタイトルの個展です。
黒いチューリップの花びらをイメージしたキャンバスの上に、白い絵の具で絵を描きました。
まっ暗闇の中で見るちょっぴりメルヘンチックな夢、って感じです。
12年前にはじめたスタイルですが、今回やっとまとまった気がします。
2ヶ月近く寝食を忘れて描いたことや、
オープニングに大勢の人が来てくれたことも印象的でした。

4/Please tell me your favorite production.
あなたのお気に入りの作品について教えてくれませんか。



It is "Z CHAN".
It was reprinted as a revised edition this year as the cartoon of "Z CHAN" that had been published in 1992 added 14 uncollection work volumes.

『Z CHAN』です。
今年、1992年に出版した『Z CHAN』の漫画が、未収録作14篇を加えて改訂版として復刻されました。
15年を経て復刻されたという、その生命力には励まされます。
23年間一緒に苦労をともにしているので、愛着もひとしおですね。
『Z CHAN』のおかげで今も生きていけてるし、問題は沢山あるものの、
とても興味深い不思議な人生を送らせてもらっています。

5/Tell me about your new project plane?
あなたの新しいプロジェクトの計画を教えて下さい。

I will think that the foreign country such as Europe can develop 'Z CHAN' and 'Van Rohho' in the future.
The one-man show is scheduled to be held in Paris this year or next year.
And, there is an activity mainly composed of distributing the bulb of the tulip of 'TULIP WATER' done for a long time.
I want to become full-scale the project.

今後、ヨーロッパなど外国でも『Z CHAN』や『バンロッホ』を展開できればと思います。
今年か来年にはパリで個展を開く予定です。
また、やはり昔から平行して行っている『TULIP WATER』という、チューリップの球根を配ることを主体とした活動があるんですが、そのプロジェクトもそろそろ本格化したいと思っています。

6/What do you think of the flow of digital?
デジタルの流れについて、どう思いますか？

I feel explosive power like the big-bang.
To just the start recently, it is likely to influence it greatly in the future of the human race and the earth.
I feel our reality be changing in the dream, the reality, and the area that doesn't image.

ビッグバンのような爆発的な勢いを感じます。
ついこの前始まったばかりだというのに、人類や地球の未来にも大きく影響していくことになりそうですね。
我々のリアリティーが夢とも現実ともつかない領域で変化しつつあるのを感じます。

7/What is your dream?
夢は、何ですか？

It is LOVE & PEACE.
I want to marry the charming person.
And I want to make a happy home.

LOVE & PEACE
とりあえずは素敵な人と結婚したいです。
幸せな家庭を作りたいですね。
