1/Can you introduce yourself?
自己紹介をして頂けないでしょうか。

Hi, I'm Tsugumi Watari.
I'm a stylist.
I'm good at styling which is grace yet sexy with mixture of mode and culture. I've worked in broad-based field such as Fashion, Music, and Advertisement.

こんにちは、スタイリストの亘 つぐみです。
国内外の雑誌をはじめ、ファッションショーやCDジャケット、広告などを
中心に活動しています。モードとカルチャーをミックスした、エレガントでありながらセクシーなスタイリングが得意です。

2/Why are you starting this job?
なぜ、この仕事を始めたのですか？

I originally had worked at a clothing company as a press.
There were not so many job offers, so I had had difficulty working until it became established since I became a stylist.
However, I started this job because I love fashion.

私は、もともとアパレルのプレスの仕事をしていました。
スタイリストになってからは、仕事がなかったり、定着するまで苦労しました。
でも、洋服が大好きだったから始めたんです。

3/Tell me about the most favorite job you've ever done.
あなたが今までで、一番お気に入りの仕事を教えて下さい。

I have many, but I like the work with UA.
It is so challenging to work with the person who has a robust individuality like her.

いっぱいありますね。
たとえば、UAの仕事です。
彼女みたいに、個性がしっかりしている人は、やりがいがあります。

4/What is your most favorite production?
これからは、どんなことをしていきたいですか?

I'd like to stick to my own styling in the future.
I have a lot of ideas for styling which I want to try, but
if I can mix high-brand clothes and casual, and make it dressed-down, I can do my ideal styling. I envy that people can be free to lease and mix both high-brand and casual in overseas countries.
Also, I'd like to do image-building for brands and producing totally
because it is fun to create womenﾕs image from zero.

これからも、自分のスタイリングを貫いていきたいです。
やりたいスタイリングは、いっぱいありますが、
ハイブランドの洋服をカジュアルとミックスしてドレスダウンする。
それが出来たら、自分の理想が出来ますね。
海外は、自由にレンタル出来て、ミックス出来るから羨ましい。
あとは、ブランドのイメージ作りをしていきたいですね。
0の部分から、女性像を造っていくのが楽しいです。
トータルプロデュースをやっていきたいと思っています。

5/What do you pay attention style now?
今、注目しているスタイルは、何ですか？

That is "simple".
I think simple is the most extreme.
For clothes, materials are basic, and patterns make the shape.
I have an interest in the style which is casual, but also sexy and traditional-based .

シンプル。
シンプルこそ究極だなって思うんです。
服は、素材がベースで、あとはパターンで服の形が決まるんです。
スタイルとしては、トラッドベースのセクシーなカジュアルに注目しています。

6/Do you think the follow of style in the future?
これからのスタイリングの流れについてどう思いますか？

I've become completely conservative.
Until now, I was mostly into the "sexy" look or the "gorgeous" look.
2 years ago, the trend in Europe was the "traditional" look.
Since then, my style has become "conservative" and/or "traditional".
I take a "traditional" component and break it down to a stylish look.
If I liken to a brand, it is "Le Grand Bleu".
I love the brand "green" now.

私自身、完全「コンサバ」になりましたね。
今までは、セクシーでゴージャスというものが多かったんですけど。
2年くらい前に、ヨーロッパのトレンドがトラッドだったんです。
それを見てからは、「コンサバ」や「トラッド」になりましたね。
トラッドベースのアイテムをスタイリングでかっこ良く崩して着こなす。
ブランドに例えると、「Le Grand Bleu」ですね。
今は、「green」というブランドに、ぞっこんです。
