1/Can you introduce yourself?
自己紹介をして頂けないでしょうか。

I'm producing string instrument such as violin, viola and cello in Cremona Italy. Masters such as Stadivari, Guarneri and Amati are all from Cremona.
I'm selling raw material which relates to the production atelier and production and also I'm exporting mainly antique and modern violin to Japan from the contact all over in Italy and am introducing those to performer and collector.

弦楽器、主にヴァイオリン、ヴィオラ、チェロをイタリアのクレモナという町で製作しています。
クレモナという町はかのStradivariやGuarneri,Amatiといった巨匠を輩出した町です。
この町で製作工房と製作に関わる原材料の販売、さらにイタリア全土に張り巡らせたコンタクトから、アンティーク、モダンヴァイオリンを中心に日本に輸出し演奏家、コレクターなどに紹介しています。

3/Why are you starting this job?
なぜ、この仕事を始めたのですか？

Basically I was just interested about it but three of my uncles and two of my cousins are participating to the same job..

伯父が３人、いとこが二人、この仕事に関わっていることもあり
最初はほんとに興味本位で始めました。

4/What is your most favorite project?
一番のお気に入りの仕事は、何でしょうか。

It is my favorite work that cut down from a tree one the lump of Violin fabrication process called scroll part.
It is feelings like the carver. It always gets excited to the process of realizing the image of three dimensions that exists in the head.

ヴァイオリンの製作の中でも特にスクロールという部分、くるくると渦巻状になっている部分を一塊の木から削りだしていく仕事です。
彫刻家のような気分で、頭の中にある３次元のイメージを現実化していく過程にいつもわくわくします。

5/The question is if you have any plans or something in the future.
あなたは、未来の計画か、何かを持っていますか？

I hope to keeping up my production activity and I would like to convey my experience and information in Italy to the young Japanese producers who comes coming out from now on.
And I would also like to particiate as a musical instrument dealer not only in Japan but Asia, Europe and U.S..

自分の制作活動を続けると同時に、今後出てくる若い日本人製作家に僕のイタリアで得た経験や情報などを伝えていけたらと思っています。
そして楽器ディーラーとしても日本だけではなく、アジア、ヨーロッパ、アメリカなどで活動していきたいですね。

6/What do you think of the flow of digital in the future?
このデジタル社会は、どう影響してくると思いますか？

We presently have protected the technology of production of the violin in Cremona before approximately 250 years, so we are like anti digital and all. Therefore the value of analog comes coming out more and more I think.

クレモナのヴァイオリン製作というものは現在も250年前の技法を守って作られているので全くデジタル社会に相反するものです。
それだけにますますアナログ的価値が出てくるのではと思っています。

7/Tell me about your new project plane?
あなたの新しいプロジェクトの計画を教えて下さい。

I'm looking for a new store and atelier rigt now.
I'm hoping the building would be renaissance period in Cremona.

今新しいお店兼工房を探しています。
できればクレモナの中でもルネッサンス期の建物で探せればと思っています。
