1/First I hope to introduce myself.
まずは自己紹介を。

Hi, I'm MICHAEL CANITROT from Paris. I m a young french DJ/Producer.
I'm resident DJ at the Queen Club Paris located on "Les Champs Elysees" (www.queen.fr), at the prestigious Mezzanine de l'Alcazar (www.alcazar.fr) and also at Radio FG (www.radiofg.com) for my weekly show.

I've started my concept "So, Happy in Paris ?" 7 years ago. It's an international party performing in the most famous places in the world. First Parisian (Queen, Man Ray, Bains-Douches, Alcazar...) the party has become itinerant and now travels through out France (Saint Tropez, Cannes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Montpellier, Lyon, Marseille, Deauville, La Baule, Megeve, Courchevel...) but also abroad (Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, UK, Croatia, Morocco, Algeria, USA, Japan...)

こんにちは。僕は、パリのMICHAEL CANITROTです。
フランスの若いDJ／プロデューサーなんだ。
パリのQueen Club の"Les Champs Elysees"、名門の"Mezzanine de lﾕAlcazar"、あと、"Radio FG"で毎週レジデントDJとして活動しているんだ。
7年前、僕のコンセプトから "So, Happy in Paris ?"を始めたんだ。
そのパーティは、世界一有名な場所でパフォーマンスされるような国際的なパーティなんだ。
フランスのパリジャン (Queen, Man Ray, Bains-Douches, Alcazar...)のパーティは、フランス (Saint Tropez, Cannes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Montpellier, Lyon, Marseille, Deauville, La Baule, Megeve, Courchevel...)だけでなく、世界中(Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, UK, Croatia, Morocco, Algeria, USA, Japan...)を旅のように廻っているよ。

2/Project most recently remained in memories?
最近一番記憶に残っているプロジェクトは？

The Project of our "So, Happy in Paris ? - Love Summer Tour".
In 2006 we did more than 50 parties all around the world during 3 months.
It was just fantastic!
Next summer it'll be the same intensity but with a compilation mixed in stores including some of my future tracks.

僕らのプロジェクトの"So, Happy in Paris ? - Love Summer Tour"だね。
2006年に、3ヶ月もかけて、世界50カ国も廻ったんだ。
それは、ファンタスティックだったね。
次の夏、 僕の新しいトラックも含めてコンピレーションをリリースするんだ。

3/A gig most recently remained in memories?
最近一番記憶に残っているギグはなんですか？

I want to speak about 2 parties.

First, my DJ set for the Closing Party of the 2006 Cannes Film Festival on the Majestic Beach.
It was private and everybody wanted to kill his friends to go inside.
It was the most glamorous party I've ever seen.
All the people from the cinema industry was here with beautiful dresses, suits... and they danced all night long on my sound!

Second, my DJ set during the 2006 Miami Winter Conference at Delano Hotel.
I played with Terry Hunter & King Britt for the party organized by Barbara Tucker.
It was a wonderful party in the open air under Florida's sun.
Many singers were there for a live performance (Michelle Weeks, Ron Caroll, Joy Cardwel, Barbara Tucker...).
It was incredible to see such osmosis between the audience and the artists and such harmony between the place and the event.
As I'm thinking about it I still have shivers...

2つパーティーがあるよ。

一つめは、Majestic Beachでやった2006年Cannes Film Festivalのクロージングのパーティだね。
プライベートだったんだけど、みんなが中に入ってきちゃって、大変だったんだ。
今まで見た中で、すごく魅力的なパーティーだったね。映画業界からすべての人達が美しいドレスやスーツを着て、そして、僕のサウンドで一晩中踊ったんだ。

二つめは、2006年のMiami Winter Conference のDelano Hotelでやったこと。
僕は、Barbara TuckerのオーガナイズしたパーティーでTerry HunterやKing Brittと一緒にプレイしたんだ。フロリダの太陽の下でオープンエアーの素晴らしいパーティだったよ。
たくさんのシンガーperformance (Michelle Weeks, Ron Caroll, Joy Cardwel, Barbara Tucker...)
がライブパフォーマンスをしたんだ。
オーディエンスとアーティストが浸透して、会場とイベントが調和して、信じられないような光景だったんだ。
そのことを考えると、身震いするんだ。

4/What is your recent CD project, tune or remix ?
最近のCDプロジェクトの曲やリミックスは、何ですか？

Presently I'm preparing the fifth volume of the prestigious compilation "Mezzanine de l'Alcazar".
I'm hard working on it to propose a beautiful musical selection with new talents but also gems from past years.
I also prepared some new compositions only for this record...
I hope you'll enjoy!

最近は、"Mezzanine de lﾕAlcazar"の第5弾コンピレーションの準備をしてるんだ。
過去何年間、宝石だけでなく、新しい才能で美しい音楽の選曲をするために大変だったよ。
このレコードのために、新しいコンピレーションをいくつか準備したんだ。
楽しみに待っていてね。

5/What do you think of the flow and the music download of digital in the future?
音楽のデジタル配信の流れと将来をどう思う？

I think it's a great thing but only if legal download becomes a reflex and if people think differently from now on.
To survive, music mustn't be free.

もし、ちゃんとダウンロードが浸透して、もし、これからみんながそれぞれちゃんと考えてくれれば、すごいいいことだと思うよ。
僕らが生き残るためには、音楽はタダじゃ駄目なんだ。

My last parties in Tokyo and Osaka confirmed me that you are among the best audience in the world. You know music. Your enthusiasm and your energy on the dance floors are incredible!
