1/Could you introduce yourself?
まず、自己紹介して下さい。

My name is Dr.Shingo.
I act based on Tokyo.
I produced and released the tracks to which elements of techno and the electro, etc.
I also do DJ and live.

Dr.Shingoです。
東京を拠点に活動しています。
テクノやエレクトロ等の要素を取り入れた曲を制作/リリース、DJやライブも行っています。

2/Why is it "Dr."?
なぜ、「Dr.」なんですか？

I came to use Dr from the event that had happened when I was going to study
to the United States.
I have used it since then because the sound is also interesting.

アメリカに留学していた時に起こった出来事からDr.を使うようになりました。
響きも面白いのでそれ以来使っています。

3/You were originally as for the jazz guitarist.
元々はジャズ・ギタリストをだったそうですが、どのようなきっかけで
テクノ〜エレクトロに転身したのですか？

It is a thing when this also goes to study abroad.
A friend at that time introduced the German lock of KRAFTWERK etc.

Music can be made being able to make the sound from doing the programming with the computer.
Such an individual thing has freshly given myself up to this music.
At that time, it is a thing that I who was the guitarist wish am DJ that was not able to be imagined surely.

これも留学していた時の事なのですが、当時の友人からクラフトワーク等のジャーマン・ロックを紹介されたのがきっかけです。
まだ自分が触れていなかったサウンドであること、コンピューターでプログラミングする事で音が作れて音楽が作れる…そういった一つ一つの事が新鮮でこの音楽にのめり込んでしまいました。
まさかギタリスト志望だった自分がDJをしているとは、当時は想像も出来なかった事です。

最近の一番印象深いプロジェクトは、何ですか？

It is my new making of the tracks.

自分の新しい曲つくりです。

5/A gig most recently remained in memories?
最近一番記憶に残っているギグは何ですか？

All gigs are impressive.
If daring to enumerate it, it is FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'07 is live done to have performed this year about 07.

どのギグも思い出深いです。
あえて挙げるとすれば、今年出演したFUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '07でのライブです。

6/What will you think the music download to become it in the future?
音楽のデジタル配信の流れと将来をどう思う？

Because it is already a part of the flow of worldwide music circulation, I touch it very naturally.
It is reluctant even if it is worried that it has already been copied, in the denied part, there is no nothing.

The thing that the tune can be bought doesn't include the thing that a desirous record is sold out online either. And because it is possible to buy it by doing only the tune that entered my nature in choice, it is very convenient.
The thing that choices increase for DJ invites the result that DJ individual's music sense is tested further after all.
DJ should sensitively obtain information more than before.
Are not you because it keeps becoming busy?
It is the future of a digital delivery of music.
I think that a present system is approaching ideally for the music label and the musician.
If the revolution advances from the current system further, I think that it is evolution of DJ tool in the site and it is time when it enters to do DJ by using the music file the surgical knife.
It is general to make the file CD now and to use, and to do DJ with a tool that uses the personal computer directly.
The tool to be DJ in the method that cannot be imagined now will come out in the future.
If it does so, a new format is sure to be needed.
I want to see such a technological revolution while I am alive.

もう世界的な音楽流通の流れの一部になっているので、とても自然に接しています。
もうコピーされるなどの心配をしても仕方ないし、否定する部分は何一つありません。
更に拡大していくでしょう、なんて言葉も陳腐です。
既に「スタンダード」になっているのですから。
オンラインで曲が買えるという事は、欲しかったレコードが売り切れる、なんて事もないし、自分の気に入った曲だけをチョイスして買えるから言う事無しです。
こうしてDJにとって選択肢が多くなるという事は、結局DJ個人の音楽センスが更に試される結果を招きます。
DJは今まで以上に情報を敏感にキャッチしなくてはならず、忙しくなる一方ではないでしょうか？
音楽のデジタル配信の将来ですが、現在のシステムは音楽レーベルや、ミュージシャンにとっても理想的な状態に近づきつつあると思います。
今のシステムから更に変革が進むとすれば、それは現場でのDJツールの進化、音楽ファイルを使用してDJするあり方そのものにメスが入る時だと思います。
現在はファイルをCDにして使用したり、直接パソコンを使用したツールを使ってDJするのが一般的ですが、将来、今では想像が出来ない様な方法でDJをするツールが出てくるかもしれません。
そうすれば新しいフォーマットが必要になってくるはずです。
生きている内にそんな技術革命を目の当たりにしてみたいものですね。
