1/First I hope to introduce myself.
まずは自己紹介を。

Hi, my name is Carlos Manaca.
I'm a co-owner of Magna Recordings and also a producer and a DJ for 20 years. I'm also executive of Stereo Production as well.
My career as DJ is for 20 years and as a producer is about 13 years.
I stared spinning in a club near my home.

こんにちは、Carlos Manacaです。
Magna Recordingsのオーナー兼プロデューサーで、20年間DJの仕事をしているんだ。
また、Stereo Productionsのエグゼクティブでもあるんだ。
僕のDJとしてのキャリアは20年、プロデューサーとしては13年。
僕の家の側にあったクラブから始まったんだ。

2/What is your dream?
夢は、なんですか？

My dream is to keep what I do now both as producer and DJ.
Hope to create my favorite sound and to be able to live with it.
The music market is changing, but I wish where it is now.

夢は、プロデューサーとDJを両方とも続けること。
お気に入りのサウンドをクリエイトしたいし、そこで生きていきたいんだよね。
音楽マーケットは変わってきているけど、今は、そうしていたいんだ。

3/A gig most recently remained in memories?
最近一番記憶に残っているギグは？

I have a great memory in Tokyo.
I had never imagined that the people on the other side of the world were that much interested in my sound. The other time is the event with 15000 audience 1 or 2 years ago in my hometown, Lisboa, Portugal.
I played with DJ Sneak and Roger Sanchez. The most unforgettable one.

東京には、特別な想いがあるね。
こんな世界の反対側に生きている人々が僕の音に興味を持ってくれているとは思わなかった。
他には、1〜2年前の故郷のリスボン（ポルトガル）で15,000人のオーディエンスの前でイベントをしたことかな。
DJ SneakとRoger Sanchezのセッションは、忘れられないものになったよ。

4/Original of the favor and recent tune or remix?
最近の曲で気に入ってるオリジナル／リミックスは？

The remix with Victor Calderone represents my sound.
I was very excited and honored to work with him.
That's going to be released in this summer.

Victor Calderoneとのリミックスは、僕のサウンドの集大成とも言えるよ。
共に制作出来たことは、エキサイティングだったし、僕の自慢でもあるんだ。
今年の夏にリリース予定なんだ。

5/How was this remix or original achieved?
そのリミックス／オリジナルはどうやって制作した？

It's the remix version of tracks 8years ago and it's one of my favorite Victor's work. I got this great chance in Miami last year.
This remix was elaborated with more electrical sound than the original.
We've released this compilation "5 Years of Magna Recordings" , which celebrates Magna's 5th anniversary. Hope many people enjoy it.

それは8年前のリミックスバージョンのトラックで、僕の大好きなVictorの楽曲の1つでもあるんだ。
去年のマイアミで大きなチャンスを得たんだよね。
このリミックスは、オリジナルより一層エレクトリカルサウンドが色濃くなっているよ。
Magna Recordings5周年のコンピレーションとしてリリースするよ。
気に入ってくれたら嬉しいな。

6/What do you think of the flow and the music download of digital in the future?
音楽のデジタル配信の流れと将来をどう思う？

Music industry has been changing enormously, analog to digitalized. We can't help it in the present.

Young people are enjoying digital world more and more and we should adapt to that new situation.
However, in this circumstance, we should try to stop free download on internet and getting music should be cost.
This is going to be a big issue while digitalizing is expanding.

音楽産業は、アナログからデジタルへと大きな変貌を遂げてきているね。

若者には、デジタルが浸透し、ダウンロードも行われている。
けれども、そんな状況下でも、違法な無料ダウンロード（インターネット上の）を阻止すべきだね。サウンドを得るためには、対価を支払うべきだと言うことを実感して欲しいんだ。
デジタルの波及において、これは、大きな問題になってくると思うよ。
