1/First I hope to introduce myself.
まずは自己紹介を。

Hi, my name is Fred Jorio.
Producer/Remixer/Artist/Programmer/multi-instrumentalist/Engineer and DJ.
I have been a force in Dance Music.
As an Artist Producer Fred Jorio has released 7 full length albums under various monikers.
I have produced countless singles and have worked on over 200 remixes at various capacities.
I am worked on remixes for many major artists including Maddonna, Elton John, David Bowie, Beyonce, KD Lang, Pet Shop Boys, Sheryl Crow,
I contributed to 15 billboard #1 dance singles and many more top tens.
I produced an Album on Decca Universal called Jorio "Cyber Diva"which fused Opera with Dance Music featuring an acclaimed Metropolitan Opera singer. he also owns and operates Lectroluv Studio in Tribecca New york.

ビルボードのダンスチャートでナンバーワンを獲得したシングル15枚、さらに多くのトップテン入りしたシングルに貢献しています。
Decca UniversalではJorio “Cyber Diva” というアルバムをプロデュースしましたが、これはオペラにダンスミュージックを融合させたもので、著名なメトロポリタンオペラの歌手をフィーチャーした作品です。

最近一番記憶に残っているプロジェクトは？

Christina Aguilera's "Ain't No other Man"
I worked on the remix with Junior Vasquez and we tried to create a uplifting fun party record.
We stayed true to the original version but added extra keyboards and funky breaks. it's a hit topping the billboard dance charts.

Christina Aguileraの “Ain’t No Other Man”だね。
Junior Vasquezとリミックスを行った際には、楽しく盛り上がれるパーティー・レコードにしようと思って作りました。
オリジナルを残して、キーボードとファンキーなブレイクを加えました。
それは、ビルボードのダンスチャートで、トップを獲得したヒットとなりました。

3/A gig most recently remained in memories?
最近一番記憶に残っているギグは？

The last really exciting party I was at the Marintime hotel in NYC.
It was a quiet Sunday night and a friend turned me on to this party.
The club was full the energy was electric and eveyone was having a great time. The dj wasn't famous but played fabulously...I forgot his name.

ニューヨークのMarintime Hotelでのパーティーは、とてもエキサイティングでしたよ。
静かな日曜の夜だったけど、友達に乗せられて行ったんです。
クラブは満員でエレクトリックなエナジーが溢れていたし、皆すごく楽しんでいました。

有名なＤＪじゃなかったけど、プレイは素晴らしかった・・・名前は思い出せないのですが。

最近の曲で気に入ってるオリジナル／リミックスは？
そのリミックス／オリジナルはどうやって制作した？

The track of mine that is my personal favorite is "Bring it on Back" by Lectroluv.
I wanted to create driving, penetrating track that features my huge arsenal of vintage synths.
This track uses a tb303, minimoog, juno 60, mks80, sequntial circuits prophet5 and pro one. drums courtesy of the sp100 and akai samplers.
All the synth sounds are my own creations and the sounds keep changing and morphing. The record is a tribute to dj pierre and the old wild pitch crew.

自分のトラックで個人的に気に入ってるのはLectroluvの”Bring it on Back”。
僕のヴィンテージ・シンセサイザーのコレクションを駆使して、激しい、突き抜けるようなトラックを作り上げたかったんです。
このトラックでは、tb303, minimoog, juno60, mks80, sequential circuits prophet 5とpro oneを使用しています。ドラムは、sp100とAkai samplersを使いました。
シンセの音はすべて僕自身のクリエーションで、サウンドはどんどん変化していきます。
このレコードは、DJ PierreとThe Old Wild Crewへのトリビュートなんです。

6/What do you think of the flow and the music download of digital in the future?
音楽のデジタル配信の流れと将来をどう思う？

It's very conveniant way of getting music out.
Most djs are tired of carrying crates of records and serious djs have issues storing all bulky records.
Although mp3's lack the high definition, wav files like the ones offered on ANTENNASOUNDS.COM sound great and the new cd players are so powerful, it's clear the days of vynl are fading.
I love the sound feel of vynl, but the future is in the download community.

すごく便利な方法だと思います。
ほとんどのＤＪは山のようなレコードを持ち歩くのに嫌気がさしてるし、真面目なＤＪはレコードを保管するのに場所をとるから困っていますよね。
mp3の音質は良くないけど、ANTENNASOUNDS.COMで配信されてるようなwavファイルは音もいいし、最近のＣＤプレイヤーはパワフルだからとてもいいですね。
レコード盤の時代は、明らかに過ぎようとしています。
vynlサウンドのフィーリングは好きですが、未来はダウンロード・コミュニティーの中にあると思うんです。
